An installation experience for the disabled and children at the V&A Museum

The installation  for the disabled and children at the V&A Museum would provide a new experience to visitors whereby they can interact and understand the museum objects better.

The installation consists of two listening pods as well enclosed spaces through the use of different fabrics enabling visitors to listen to the oral histories of museum objects.

Having a variety of fabric textures would allow visitors to have a sensory and acoustic experience as the fabrics can be felt, while the speakers play oral histories. The speakers are made from bioplastic also with different colours and textures enhancing the experience for all visitors, particularly children as they play and engage with the museum artefacts in these spaces.
